About us

The Asia Pacific Alliance of Integrated Prevention and Control of diabetes(Macau) (APAIPCD) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the prevention and control of diabetes in the Asia Pacific region. The alliance was jointly launched by medical institutions, research institutions, public health organizations and relevant enterprises in many countries, aiming to reduce the incidence rate and complications of diabetes by integrating resources, sharing best practices and promoting innovation. It was approved by the Macao government (10135) and established in 2021.

The main tasks of APAIPCD include:

1. Education and publicity: through holding seminars, releasing guidelines and carrying out public education activities, people's awareness of diabetes and prevention awareness will be raised.

2. Research and data sharing: promote diabetes related research, establish a data sharing platform, and promote the transformation and application of scientific research achievements.

3. Policy advocacy: cooperate with the government and international organizations to promote the formulation and implementation of policies and regulations conducive to the prevention and treatment of diabetes.

4. Technical support: provide technical support for medical institutions and communities to help them establish an effective diabetes management and prevention system
